🇺🇸 Donald Trump's Republicans feel pity for Joe Biden after the Presidential Debate (June 27, 2024)

I talk with President Trump a lot. I'm proud to be one of his strongest allies. I'm proud to be the first member ofthe House to endorse his reelection. This is an overwhelming win on the debate stage. But most importantly, President Trump isfocused on not only winning this November, but bringing success to the American people, returning to the effective policies thatwe saw under President Trump's first term, securing the border, çunleashing American energy independence,.

Standing up for hardworking families, who have been crushed by Joe Biden's inflation, from the trillions ofdollars of reckless spending. Biden called Trump “a convictedfelon”on the stage tonight and said, My thoughts on that are… Joe Biden has illegal andunconstitutionallyweaponized his Department ofJustice, to go after his top political opponent. That's Donald J Trump. TheAmerican people seethrough this. As a New Yorker when we haveviolentcriminals returned onto our streets,.

Because of failed Democrat policies, andwe have a radical DA like Alvin Bragg, who refused to prosecute violent crimes, butgoafter Joe Biden's top political opponent. The American people see through it. It's a form of election interference. And that's why President Trump'spolls continue to go up and up. Because if they can do that, and be politically weaponizedagainst President Trump, they can do it against any American.

I gotta do one more interview.. Vivek, which were the best parts of Trump andthe worse parts of Biden, in your opinion? I think, the best parts fromTrump werewhen he was talking about his policy record, as the President of the United States. I thought he was at a particularlypoignantmoment when he said that: “The reason I ran for the office wasactuallybecause of Joe Biden's failures”. That'sa unique thing to say. I think it was verypersonal. I think it washuman, and I thinkit landed because it was true. A guy like DonaldTrump doesn't have to beputting himself throughwhat he's going through.

And I think thatlanded as really authentic, and vulnerable, and true, in a way thatyou don't usually getfrom politicians. I think the worst moments forJoe Bidenreally came at the very opening ofthe debate, only because that sustained itselfthroughout. But people wondered.. Is this man ill? Is this manmentally capable? Is he competent? And I think people came out withthe answer tothat questions: “is he mentally competent orcapable”. And the answer was: NO! What you have, I think for many people, who mighthave otherwisebeen open to supporting Biden.

You mighthave a lot of people who won't cast thevotefor Biden, based on what they saw tonight, even though they might havesome personalsympathy for him, as an old man who was reallycast as a'sacrificial lamb' out there tonight. I know you were you expecting theformer president (Trump) to dowell. Were you expecting thepresident(Biden) to do this poorly? I didn't know what to expect. Imean, you know, the guy spent, time… I don't know what they did for six oreight daysin Camp David, you know, getting ready for this. He repeated things thatare not true, but he's also said things that… To be frank, there were times Icouldn'tunderstand what he was saying.

Thank God we had that CC (subtitles). I don't know how those guys did it. But there were times I couldn'tunderstandwhat he was saying, to be fair. Maybe hewas saying something brilliant andveryastute, but I couldn't understand it. So I think that was a problem. And I thinkvoters saw it. I don't think there's any spinningout of it. And again, I think it's adangerous thing forour country, but I want togo back to the core. And the core of this is that thiscountrywas better off when Trump was president. Whether you like everything hesaysor not, that's the bottom line.

And that's how most Americans are goingtoend up voting. Who are they better with? You are top-pick for VP. How do you feel about your chancesto be next to President Trump? Well, that's what they say in themedia.I don't know if I'm a top-pick. That'swhat I've heard reported, but… I saidthat before. Look, I think ultimately, the president has alot ofwonderful people to choose from. And we've got 10 or 12 people thatarebetter than Kamala Harris. So, you know,he'll make that choice.

Only he can makethat choice. And I'mconfident it'll bea really good choice. And, you know,we'll waitfor him to make that choice. Do you know anything at this point? About? No. No, and if I did,I wouldn't tell you anyway. Any conversations with Trump? I mean, they've gone throughthe normal processthat you go through any time you're talking, but I'm sure they're doing thatwitha lot of different people. But I've… No one's told me anything, andfrankly, I didn't expect them to.

Do you want that? Well, anytime you have an opportunity to serve, like I've served for a whilenowin the Senate, and it's… I'd be happy to continue to serve there. Ithink there's a lot of work leftto be done, but when you have it, if you have achance to servein the executive branch, at the right hand of a president, with a chanceto fix so much ofwhat's wrong with our country, you have to be honored by that opportunity,.

And you have to consider it,obviously, very seriously. I would be honored. But again,I'm being presumptuous. Nothing'sbeentalked to me about that. Can you talk about the aspectstonight? Yeah, they were a disaster for Biden. I mean,it's just notgood. It's bad for the country. Like I said, they're watching. Imean, ouradversaries have television. They have TVs, and they're gonna get toseethis, and they make analysis of all this. And I worry aboutthat. I also worry about who's actuallycalling the shots in the White House.

It's hard to believe that theman I saw on stage tonight. Look, I didn'tserve with JoeBiden in the Senate. Okay. But I was around when he wasvice president. I even watched avideo, today, of four years ago. Imean, it's just painfully obvious. Again,I don't want to becruelabout it. It's just a reality. But I do worry that ouradversaries willread into it,that they can make decisions. Andyou have to ask yourself: Who's actually like making decisionsona daily basis in the White House?.

Because I don't think the personwe sawtonight could be involved in the detailsof governing,at this point, from whatI saw. So to be clear, Joe Biden makesyour life harder andworse. Donald Trump makes your life easierand better. The good news is the Americanpeopledon't have to listen to media or me. They get to look at their own paycheckstofigure out which economy was better. Take a look at the southern borderto figureout which one was closed, which one is open. And they can look at the crime, thedevastation in the streets acrossAmerica, and come to a very simple conclusion.

We need four more years of Donald Trump! Senator, do you think thisdebate will swing any borders? Yeah, I think there are probably 10 to15 % ofAmerican voters who have not madeup their mind. If you were watching thisdebate, then you're voting for Donald Trump. It's one of the greatest contrast betweentwopoliticians, I've ever seen in my life. The dominance of Donald Trump wasundeniable. That's why the Joe Bidencamp startedputting out that he hada cult. They're looking for a way tocover the tracks before the debatewas over. Thatis a tell-tell sign. Undeniably.

Senator, how important is thisdebate at all? Listen, we this is the mostpowerful countryon the planet, the leaderof the free world. Having a chance, forthe American people, to make a decision based onthe style, the substance of the two candidates. Very important night, very-very goodnight, let's say, a great night for Donald Trump. You shouldn't be light on whetheryou'llbe the candidate for vice president. I can only shed light on the factthat four moreyears of Donald Trump, will makeAmerica a stronger, healthier, better place to live. And four more yearsunder JoeBiden leads us to our socialism.

Senator former President Donald Trumptalked about one of your key issueson thestage tonight, the OpportunityZones. Talk about what happened. Exciting time for the peoplelivingin impoverished communities. Under Donald Trump, we saw myOpportunityZones Bill sign into law. What that meansis: $70 billion committed to thepoorest communities oftentimes majority minority. $70 billion has led to inthose communities aboutan 8% wage growth versus 3%, outside the zones. 20% appreciation in your propertyvalues andthe restoration of hope.

It was a wonderful4 years for peoplewho grew up like I did,in a single parent household mired in poverty. So talking about Opportunity Zones, istalking about, perhaps, themost powerfulforce for good from an anti-poverty focus onthe privatesector, we've seen in my lifetime. Have a good first one togeta shout-out for today. Listen, it's always good to hear yournamecalled if it's called positively. But bottom line is, it's not about me. It's about what can we do to make surethat the American people experiencetheirversion of the American dream,.

And that's what we should allbefocused on and working towards. What do you think? Well, I'm glad we have a process wherebypeoplecan hear from both of the candidates, but I think it was fairly embarrassingthatthe rest of the world gets to see this, that they get to see the leaderofthe free world in that state. What was your assessmentof PresidentBiden, Doctor? Do you think he was winsome? Capable? No, I think he was rambling and unfortunatelydidnot represent our country very well. What do you make of the WhiteHousesaying that we had a cold tonight?.

Well, I guess they're lookingfor anyexcuse that you can find. You know…He looked like hewas healthy, relativelyhealthy. And, you know… I really felt sorryforhim as he struggled to come up with answers. He was trying to remember thethings that they've told him. And many times he would switch from onesubjectto another, and then start rambling. It really was not a very good performance. Do you think it has to do with his age? No, not necessarily. There are a lot of90-something-year-old people,.

Who are very-very cognizant of what'sgoingon, and express themselves very well. I think it has a lot more todowith this physical condition.

Sharing is caring!
