General Kings unencumber Hawaii queer apparel

Billy's off today but over the weekend he sat down with the group Common Kings they're at Bloomingdales this morning for a Hoy exclusive apparel release check it out Common Kings are international recording artist with ties to hav and the Pacific two of the members are here.

In studio as a matter of fact we want to say hello to Junior King and mat what's up guys it is good to have you guys here welcome thank you for having us man welcome welcome back home back home always okay there's a couple of things here we're talking about of course you've got a new apparel line but even before we get to that this.

Last year has been crazy for you guys you guys were like all over the map I got to say that a and the festival there had to be one of the highlights talk about that for that was a big one for us one love Festival out there in New Zealand um getting to reunite with all the boys Hawaii boys moly feed bug um the green boys so it's just like one big.

Reunion we took over the whole place yes we did good time you guys were are always crisscrossing so you never really get to see all the Hawaii guys you guys are always out there on your own right yeah that was the first Festival that they put everybody on that bill and we were all like brah BR and then it was it was yeah like a reunion and then from.

There on then we were able to cut a record that was a cool thing that came out of that but it was awesome especially for the people out all New Zealand Australia they give so much love it's incredible you go to some of the schools and some of the places down there and you guys are superstars I mean the schools I mean they come out all out.

They'll have shoes giving to sign anything just like my GOI they're wild out there they're crazy we love it though they got so much love for us and we do too for them that's why we go back at least once a year at least a couple times a year awesome so okay we have a new apparel line and you're doing this with.

Bloomingdales talk about it first of all where does this line come from you know what everything kind of just happened so quickly um we want to give a big shout out to Lou she's the general manager of Bloomingdales she was the one that really catapulted this whole thing and was a big fan of ours and she just kind of gave us this.

Platform and say hey here's an opportunity uh you guys are so loved in Hawaii why don't you guys start and we've talked about all the ideas we had we've always try to figure out what kind of active line you know and then what do you call Junior King being such a a trend Setter fashion forward we're like dude we've been trying to do this for so.

Long so we're like all right cool opportunity from L came up say why don't you guys get your ideas have a place to do it and like oh my God are you serious like yeah all right cool so this is the soft launch that's happening this weekend um we're going to be at Bloomingdale's tomorrow Memorial Day Weekend told before and you're going to.

See you know what we've been working on this is just the beginning stages beginning stages but you do it with blooming deals with blooming deals the iconic blooming who does that I know youon King King does what's coming up next for you guys what happens well with this line uh the official launch is going to be Fourth of July weekend y so.

We are going to this is exclusive for Hawaii right now then this is exclusive only Hawaii only right now so we're going to start in Bloomingdale's alamana cuz ofou and then she's got the connections once we hit off of here then we'll just start all the way from the west coast to the east coast the Rockies of all the blooming we wanted to figure.

Out how we can give back to the community give back Aloha and Mahalo to say Thank you so we decided to put a free concert together 4th of July on July 5th that Friday at alamana on the parking lot the top parking lot is going to be a free concert okay there's two things here uh first of all is that um so you're you're.

Doing this oh coming up today Monday today uh 11:00 right you guys today 11:00 we'll be there it's from 12: to 4: 1200 to 400 p.m. today okay uh second thing I want to ask you before I mention the other thing uh when's the next time we get to hear new music are you guys actively in the studios absolutely absolutely after we get this all done we.
