No no no you definitely okay y'all our day just got a little brighter we love it when our girl Heather McMahon stops by Studio 1A so funny and so pink today which is great she matches everything she's amazing she's been busy the last few weeks at all the awards shows you've probably seen her there now she's in New York for a very cool event tonight hello.

Heather how we doing hey first of all can we say happy birthday thank you you really you really you know partied in style I did I went to a nightclub and my I threw out my back at at said nightclub at the end of the night at the end of the night that's when you know you're turning 37 yeah I see it started all great look at me pretty and pink I'm.

Singing to and then I literally threw out my back now were you TW no just walking just walking out of a nightclub thank God like Paparazzi don't care about who I am because it literally it seized up and I hit the deck yeah my husband grabbed me to to the ground yes it was not because I was intoxicated it's just because my body is broken oh.

My God old I'm older that's that's me running across the street in Atlanta yeah feel good still yeah feel that's still you're fine and that's where my back went oh she's down she's down oh no she's down she y doing scene of Comedy is so hard it is like ruined my body but also you've been traveling everywhere you were in austral I mean by the way I.

Know everything about your life Will's like wow you really keep up with her I'm like she was just in Australia yeah I was I was in Australia keep competing with Taylor Swift it shouldn't be a competition but um BL one she did she did for sure I was like all the girls in glitter suits should be coming to my show but I got it I didn't want to do my.

Show I was like I'd rather go to Taylor swiat and then I tried to get tickets and I couldn't get tickets how why was that I don't know you want to say anything yeah Taylor if you're there anybody from your team I would love to come see you I'm a huge fan and so if you could send me a couple of ticks or just give me a hotline to call I would.

Be so appreciative love you Mina kisses there you go we're going to clip that and send it right to her um so let's talk about stand up it is grueling like you were sort of half joking but you're out on the road every night doing this what is it like out there she's also a physical comedian yeah and you know as as a gal I still like to wear a pair of.

Heels on stage so um listen it's just grueling you know you're working long nights and then you got to get up at 6:00 a.m. to catch the flight to the next city I mean it's tough on the body um you know I fought with people in a Delta Sky club before you know um over the last hardboiled egg you got to do what you got to do we're fighting for.

Our lives out here but it's honestly the best job in the world so I really can't complain too much oh my God you have you watched her comedy special of course I have it is the funniest you were also at the Rangers game last night and you did something that I just want to show Willie for the first time oh cuz he doesn't stop you here she is oh oh my.

God I'm in love yeah that was a tequila say that's deer no no I'm more I I like a cocktail and um that was a tequila soda that was a tequila soda and I just took it like a jam my buddy Justin Thomas was there and he was like he was daring me he was like Heather you know chug your drink and then when the lights hit you yeah and there's Justin and oh.

There he is chugging his and he he almost choked so I just want to say he went to Alabama and I went to old and there's a deep rivalry there so hottie totty Hott I was going to say usually that's a beer that's a bold that look like a double maybe too it was a double I gotta be honest with you the 600 a.m. wake up call for ha and makeup today was.

A little wiry yeah um but you had to do it for the last yeah you also have become like a roving reporter uhhuh you become a red carpet fixture what look at this I mean I the she's got variety guys um it was wild it was honestly one of the hardest ever CU you have to learn so much information about like all the albums and all the TV shows and movies.

Like I I partied hard in college so you know the brain cells aren't where they used to be so it was it was really it was wild shout out to all journalists out there that's a hard gig but I had so much fun um I heard you said something to CI B that might have been um doat oh doat all right at the Grammys people are really coming out with wild outfits and.

I didn't realize that doic cat's Alpha was completely see-through so she was running down the red carpet do we have a picture I thought somebody oh yeah so it was yeah you know the top was out and I she was running down the carpet and I was yelling do youat cover your boobs do youat I thought somebody on her team like wasn't helping her out turns out.

That was the whole look that was the look did she come and talk to you after that she did not she did not she did not went right past you is it true you're a bit of an awards Whisperer so you're on that red carpet and you kind of predicted the winners for all these I don't want to toot my own horn but I am good luck I told n Nash at the Emy she.

Was absolutely going to win she did I Victoria Monae she was going to win she did so I'm just letting you know if I'm doing any of these other award shows come stop by me and chitchat because you'll probably wi okay let's talk about the daytime emies cuz hod and I have been nominated several times and yet nothing NADA that's insane you need an.

Emmy I mean I've want some Emmys but not for this show well I'm on today so you think we'll win we should both get nominated this is the winning episode wouldn't it be funny if we won Hoda's not even here I don't funny we have to talk about what you're doing here in New York City this is amazing yes than chugging drinks.

At the Rangers game I so excited I'm performing at the theater at Madison Square Garden tonight with some of the biggest names in comedy um and it's all for the the uh giving back to the Garden they have an incredible nonprofit that is wow look at that lineup no it's wild and you're right there in the mid middle Heather McMahon honey I'm the only gal.

On the ticket so I got to show up and show out Heather Heather we need a television show on NBC starring new we do and it's so funny you mention that Jenna because they recently passed on my television show but if they want to cast me in anything or pick up another show I'd be more than happy to go to work now we have one for Taylor and one for the.

NBC yeahor there's a lot of pleas right nowbody else um okay more with Heather in a really fun game we're play great finally oh we love you okay we'll think of something e e e.

Gig okay not a double tequil I'm sorry but it's a game oh call mcmanis Heather's going to share some of her favorite sayings and explain what they mean okay okay so our first MC mannerism is rise and relax yes okay in this day and age when you have all these people who are you know preaching the good word of rise and grind every day on.

Instagram I'm a rise and relax kind of guy I like to get up have a coffee have a white wne you know look at Tik Tok for 3 hours and then ease into my day why am I so rushed in the morning I agree you agree with that I feel like we're shot out of a cannon we are I we we need to learn how to rise and relax everyone's like you got to run 10 miles you got to.

Do all this stuff I just want to get up do a Leisure morning do you meditate absolutely not all right here's your next MC mannerism yep tap dancing for the Lord oh yeah sometimes you got to put on your fanciest shoes and just tap dance do a little jig for the Lord I'm so grateful that I get do comedy for a living and.

Then I get to travel the world I don't know I just said that one day on my podcast I said I feel like tap danceing for the Lord you know so how often do you tap dance for him well honestly every time I get up on stage you know I put my white boots on and I'm just out there you know shaking it for the Lord yeah just very grateful love it it's.

Gratitude it's gratitude okay this is sort of self-explanatory but um breakfast wine oh okay so breakfast wine is a thing where in Italy it's just tradition in America it's considered a problem so um you know when you're on a European Vacation you can get up you can have a nice white wine and and nobody judges you so some days when you have a.

Day off just get up have a nice glass of s i mean if Henry walked in the kitchen and I was having wine with my raisin brand he would send me straight to bed it's not a 600 a.m. thing it's more of like a 10:00 a.m. you know brunchy it's a brunch yeah or on the way to work do what you got to do um I hesitate to ask but I will anyway leg Lube oh leg Lube.

So right before for every show it's really not that dirty he never said the word Lube never said the word Lube honey TV okay great um I like to get a nice little thing of lotion and right before every show I lube up the legs so they're nice and shiny and honestly I put have to put stuff in the middle so they don't chafe because you know when you got.

Thick thighs things rub together now I'm glad I asked do you do Lube in the middle too or you just like some I use this stuff called Mega babe thigh rescue and it's just like an anti friction stick yeah um okay this is the last one attitude of gratitude attitude of gratitude it's like dance tap dancing for the Lord you know I am so grateful.

That I get to make people Giggle and come on the show and say unhinge things so I just feel like in this day and age we're in this weird space where we're all feel really unsettled and we don't know what's happening next and I'm just so grateful so some days you got to wake up with your breakfast wine and just say have an attitude of gratitude say thank.
